Scope of Work:
SCEE Electrical completed the Electrical and Instrumentation works at the Yarnima Power Station. The completed works have enabled BHP to supply and deliver 190 megawatts from the Yarnima Power Station to iron ore operations in the Pilbara. The Yarnima Power Station replaced supply from the existing Newman Power Station, with the installation of a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power station. The CCGT comprises of three gas turbines, three heat recovery steam generators and two steam turbines with auxiliary equipment.
